At the Multipurpose Sports Complex on Tortola last evening, after taking a number of sectional prizes, Kadian Johnson went on to take the title of Miss Fifth Form 2012/2013.
Four other Elmore Stoutt High School students, some of who live in TORTOLA RENTALS challenged Johnson for the title, Akeila Louis, La’Quan Reid, Sherise Stapleton and Armoy James.
In addition to winning the crown, Johnson dominated the categories of Personal Development, Intellect, Best Poise, Best Talent, and Determined to Succeed.
The contestants were required to be team oriented, respectful for authority, rules and the disciplinary policies of the schools in relation to conduct and uniform regulations.
They must be poised, talented and intelligent, with a confident and dynamic presence, according to the pageant committee. All five contestants seem to be shining stars at Elmore Stoutt High, as Stapleton dominated in the People’s Choice and Miss Photogenic categories, and Reid earned the titles of Miss Congeniality and Best Career Wear.
