The ever popular piano bar entertainer, Mike McCabe is in the British Virgin Islands to perform from now until August 31 in Sam’s Piano Bar at The Rock Cafe on Virgin Gorda.
Mike is a popular cruise line and dueling piano bar entertainer and a multi-talented musician known for his varied brand of music, comedy and sometimes-boisterous audience spontaneity.
Playing the piano since he was 5, Mike also taught himself to play guitar, bass, drums and saxophone,and now he’s working on mastering the banjo!
Mike was named one of the ‘top 5 entertainers’ in Pittsburgh, where he played at Sing Sing’s and Jellyroll’s, two popular dueling piano bars.
In 2005, Mike moved to Florida, appearing in such venues as Jester’s and Sangria’s in St. Augustine, McKnight’s in Pointe Vedra and Culhane’s Irish Pub in Jax Beach.
He also began ‘cruising’ for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. During the last 5 years, Mike has become a ‘favorite entertainer’ in the Schooner Lounge on RCL cruise ships the Enchantment of the Seas, Majesty of the Seas, Vision of the Seas, and most recently, the Adventure of the Seas.
You can catch his performances Mondays through Saturdays, 8.00pm until 1.00am in Sam’s Piano Bar at The Rock Cafe.
