Baking Soda
*Keep bouquets fresh by putting a teaspoon of baking soda in the water at the bottom of the vase.
*Remove grease from baking sheets by mixing baking soda with hydrogen peroxide and scrubbing.
*Ward off mustiness inside your linen closet by placing an open box of baking soda at the back.
*Dust your bed mattress with baking soda to get rid of grime and moisture.
*Eliminate fridge smells by placing an open box of baking soda on the back shelf.
*Relieve baby’s diaper rash by mixing 2 tbsps of baking soda with the little one’s bath water.
*Polish your silver with a mixture of salt, baking soda and warm water.
*Clean your toilet bowl by scrubbing it with a 2-to-1 ratio of baking soda and olive oil.
*Use as anti-itch cream for insect bites, poison ivy or rashes by mixing baking soda with water to produce an anti-itch paste.
White vinegar
Deodorize your kitchen drain by rinsing it weekly with white vinegar.
Tie a baggie filled with white vinegar around your polished brass shower head to get rid of muck and built-up residue within an hour.
Add a mug of white vinegar to your dishwater and soak for 25 minutes to shine glasses.
Mix equal parts white vinegar and warm water to clean windows.
Clean your dishwasher by eliminating detergent buildup and difficult-water stains: Pour 1 cup of white vinegar into your dishwasher and run on empty with warm water.
Eliminate ant infestations by squirting bugs with a 50/50 solution of water and white vinegar.
Soften and freshen laundry by adding white vinegar to clean water.
Clean chandeliers by making a spray from water and white vinegar.
Ammonia
To clean jewelery, soak in a solution of 1 part ammonia and one part cold water.
Remove scuff marks and grime from white footwear by scrubbing with a solution of equal parts water and ammonia.
Lift carpet stains by squirting a 50/50 combination of ammonia and warm water.
Clean bathroom and kitchen tile flooring with a mixture of water and ammonia.
To shine crystal, mix 2 cups of water with a couple of drops ammonia and wipe. Rinse with cold water.
Remove sweat stains from clothing by dabbing with ammonia before washing.
Clean hairbrushes by soaking in a combination of 1/4 cup ammonia and 1 cup water.
Liquid dish soap
Kill weeds on your sidewalk by mixing 1 teaspoon liquid dish soap with 1 gallon of white vinegar and 1 cup salt. Pour the mixture onto weeds.
Make your own icepack that stays cooler for longer than regular icepacks by filling a Ziploc bag with dish cleaning soap and freezing for at least 30 minutes.
To clean cloth diapers, add a couple of drops of dish soap to your washer and run with warm water.
Prevent car repair tools from rusting by soaking them in a combination of dish soap and water.
Clean ceramic and linoleum flooring by mixing of a small amount of dish cleaning soap with cold mop water. (Don’t use on hardwood flooring!)

Use the Non-toxic Melamine foam pads on porch posts and gutters to get rid of mildew and moss residue.
Remove water rings from wood by dabbing the spot with mayonnaise, then wiping having a Non-toxic Melamine foam pad.
Apply to plastic toys to sanitize, rinsing well with water after.
Use on your vehicle to clean the steering wheel and dashboard.
