High on the ridge above Anderson Point between Brewer’s Bay and Shark Bay looking out over Jost Van Dyke, Stowaway offers complete privacy and dramatic ocean views. The land on front of the property is held by the National Parks Trust, assuring that these views are forever protected.
Brewers Bay Beach, a safe swimming beach, is just a short walk down the hill. The property comes with a deeded private access to the quiet end of the beach and the use of a small stone dock providing access to a sheltered mooring field, perfect for keeping a small runabout with which to explore the many inlets, bays and beaches on Tortola’s North Shore and the islands beyond.
Sited on approximately 2 1/2 acres on the ridge, land on both sides, the house consists of a generous three bedroom house and a one bedroom guest cottage. The houses are of contemporary design, kept deliberately simple, easy to live in.
The spacious open living room and kitchen lead out to the long covered terrace overlooking Brewers Bays and capturing the sunsets over Jost Van Dyke. The large swimming pool hovers over Shark Bay, a stunning perch. Extensive open gardens contain lush and mature plantings. There are two lawns, perfect for croquet and bocce.
The guest house is located beyond the pool, out of sight of the main house, promising complete privacy for all.
Stowaway is a quiet respite, calm and secluded, but only a short drive to Road Town or any of Tortola’s spectacular beaches.
For convenience of travel, Stowaway has its own helicopter pad.
